Voxel Dawn
Minecraft on a planet. That's the pitch. You spawn on a procedurally generated sphere made of voxels. Dig, build, explore. The whole thing is destructible.
I wrote the engine from scratch in Rust. No Unity, no Unreal. Just me fighting with rendering code until it worked. It runs on Mac, Linux, and Windows. Still adding features like better terrain generation and more block types.
You can download it on itch.io or watch dev progress on YouTube.
Vektor Commander
Ever read Ender's Game? The part where he's commanding fleets in the battle room, seeing everything from above, issuing orders while chaos unfolds below. I wanted to play that game. It didn't exist, so I made it.
Built in C++ with Vulkan for rendering and SDL2 for input/audio. You control ships in 3D space, give orders, watch them fight. It's a space battle sim where you're the commander, not the pilot.
Check out gameplay on YouTube.
Why games?
Apps are useful. Games are fun. I like making both. These two have been in my head for years. Finally getting them out.
